After I installed your last hot fix. The Rom works much more smoothly and fast. Compared to first time installed it.

On the previous page it gives a list of apps to download if you want to replace removed ones, like all the htc apps + widgets but it says if you want to replace them to find them on SOS S what the hell, there is no link and I’ve googled everything I can including SOS S and I’ve tried to look on the page describing SOS S as opposed to the other versions of SOS but none of them have the apps. I found an essential app pack but it has all the gay apps I don’t want. Can you just email me a link to whatever page I can get the htc apps from thanks

    Hey Swagstr,
Love your ROM’s man. They are beautiful. I was just wondering if there would be a chance of getting a couple of things added to the ROM.

    1. Long press back to kill current app. (could be enabled under tweaks)

    2. (Farout idea) Integration of overclock into the tweaks, maybe under a performance tab, kinda like what cyanogen mood has.

    3. Make there 5 spots on the Sense 4.0 esque dock instead of 3 to make it super sense 4.0-y.

Thanks for listening man. Have a great day

    • 1. I would like that feature too. I’ll ask around and see what I can do.

      2. I’m working on an app called SOS Tuner for this exact feature and more!

      3. Impossible. Well, without a different launcher. Sorry.

Swagstr, I love your work. Pls keep it going. Where can I find the lock screen add-on that opens left to right? I found on the sight but the link was not working.

    June 5, 2012 at 10:38 AM

    • Just delete /system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk.

    Hi Swagstr,
Just started installing custom roms on my Evo 4g. Have tried out quite a few different ones; installed SOS X with the Lionfish kernel a few days ago. Love it! Yesterday my Evo 4g crashed and went to the boot up screen which kept looping. Had to pull battery to fix this issue. It now crashes every 3 to 4 hours with only option to pull the battery to fix it. Any ideas on what the problem is? Thank you!

    • Head over to the XDA Lionfish thread. They have a solution to your problem. It involves a file in /system/etc conflicting with the kernel. Sorry, I don’t have a link! Do some searchin’ 😉
