SOS S | 2.0.9

SOSS is being uploaded as I type. Expect to see links popping up in the downloads section soon: ROM Downloads

Instead of updating the changelog (since this is a completely new ROM), just head over to the new SOSS page to learn about the included features: SOS S Page

Below is a YouTube video that will show you what to do once you install SOSS:

    Hey everyone,
I got the honor of beta testing the builds of this latest update. Take it from me, the SOS team is the shiz when it comes to working out solutions together on fine tuning this Rom. I can’t wait to see how stoked everyone will be when this drops!

    Thanks Swagster!

Looks good. But I think I’ll wait for sos x. Just anote about the boot loop problem: I do a battery swap every morning and never have this problem. However my wife just recharged every night and would occasionally get the bootloop lockup. So now she does a “normal” reboot every morning and the problem seems to have stopped.

Downloaded and installed last night … right after I finally broke down and installed the 2.0.1 SWAG=OFF on Saturday night. 😛

Very clean ROM – I’ve been using SOS since last fall and love it. Only one FC so far but I was navigating, on the phone, and receiving another phone call after my Voice Search wigged out. I had to reboot the phone to end the phone call, haha. I blame Voice Search. 🙂

Again, thanks for taking the time to do things right.

**Side-note – I have so much more space on the internal memory and RAM as well – great job

very nice. I noticed that the music slider was removed from the quick settings on the notification bar. I had to uninstal the app2sd add on as it was causing reboots when I tried to move an app from phone to SD and viceversa.

Having an issue with the voicemail. It gives an error: processcom.coremobility.app.vnotes has stopped unexpectedly. Any ideas how to solve?

    • Try clearing data. Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Voicemail

This didn’t work for me. I’ll continue my search

      • I am running SOS 2.0.9 and am having this same issue. Voicemail (com.coremobility.app.vnotes) version T.5.2.0.26. Did not do a full wipe prior to upgrading from Ice Cream Swag, so I’m going to try that and see if it fixes the issue. Have tried the instructions from G&E on fixing stock VM apps (which include your suggestion above) to no avail.

In the meantime, can someone confirm that the version I posted above is the current one?

    • What options are present under dock remapping?

Also, you can use LaunchKey to remap it.
