Latest Update Concerns

A lot of people seemed confused about the latest update when it comes to the dock. I have posted a Q&A article that addresses these issues.

MetaMorph dock icons have been uploaded here: Remappable Dock Icons

The old blue clock from the Pre-Release can be found in here: Swag = ON Add-Ons

Feel free to hit up the XDA thread if you need any more support!

I also have noted a few people (I am one) who had some issues with our sd-ext partitions not mounting on bootup, so A2SD was not working

    • I don’t really support Apps2SD. Head over to XDA, some guy was having the same issue as you and figured it out.

Yea, I ended up doing something similar ie, repartition my SD card, just in case, even though it would mount fine in recovery, and when I did a second nandroid (as a test), the ext3 partition mounted and was backed up properly, so it was not actually the sd card that was the issue, it was probably something in the init.d as it would seem that part of the script that clockworkmod uses to repartition the SD card for a2sd does the trick, because, just to test after I repartitioned, and confirmed that everything was working properly through several reboots (cold and hot), I reflashed 1.9.0.9 and i had to remount my sd card again, because it was not auto mounting at bootup. did anything get changed in 1.9.0.9 that changed the init.d a2sd script?

FYI, just for the heck of it, I may reflash again, and then flash the newest a2sd dtapps2sd-2.7.5.3-beta04-signed (from Darktremor’s Apps2SD facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Darktremor-Apps2SD/127051514027383?sk=info)

    • Try flashing any kernel over your current install. This should fix the issue.

I tried that I flashed chopsuey kernal and then my phone wouldn’t get past the first white HTC EVO 4G screen. Even after a complete wipe including dalvik it wouldn’t so I had to restore back to the old swag. Thought my phone was bricked for a minute

  6. I’m seeing LaunchKey force close every time I try to remap the left button with SOS Tweaks. I currently have no action on the left button. Any ideas?

    • Try clearing data for LaunchKey. If that does not work, uninstall it, search for “launchkey xda,” download the latest LaunchKey and try again.

    • Try using both links. If that fails, try using ROM Manager.
